Peninsula Power FC is proud to announce they have been accepted into the 2018 Football Queensland Premier League.

The new Football Queensland Premier League is part of the new Football Queensland Two Tier 28 clubs State Structure that also includes the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Qld Competition.

Peninsula Power President Craig Feuerriegel said “We are looking forward to representing the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding Districts at State Football competition level”

We are a successful club that will always strive to be the best in any competition we participate.

Our fantastic sporting committees, sponsors, coaches, players and members have all worked tirelessly over many years to enable our club to be successful and we look forward to bringing that success at State Football Level.

Player and coaching development, working with Governments and Council for facility improvements since the formation of Peninsula Power in the year 2000 were all areas that were needed for our clubs successful application.

We will continue to foster the participation of community football for all ages and abilities throughout the club and provide opportunities for male and female players to compete.

Further information regarding Peninsula Power in the 2018 Football Queensland Premier League Competition will be made in the coming weeks.

Peninsula Power Women’s National Premier Leagues Qld side have kept their perfect start to the season with a tough 3-2 win over a strong University Qld outfit.

University have recruited several W League players and took the lead after only three minutes. However Power equalized shortly after with Annie Davis scoring.

Davis then scored her second goal before University levelled and at 2-2 the game was very evenly balanced.

However a fantastic solo run past several University players by Brooke Barbuto saw her score the winning goal and seal the win for Power.
