Club Management

Ian Britten

Ian is the Club’s Secretary and has been involved with our sport for over 30 years.  Prior to the formation of Peninsula Power his both sons played with Margate Amateur Sports Club at Jock Kelly Park.  During that time Ian held many positions ranging from team manager to president of the Club.

Ian went onto become CFO of Queensland Junior Soccer Council, a position he held for around 12 years.  During that time he was also involved with the numerous State Team Development programs which saw the development of players such as Matt McKay, Robbie Kruse, Jade North etc.  He also managed the Under 15 and 16 state teams for over 10 years.

With the amalgamation of Queensland Junior Soccer and Football Brisbane /Football Queensland Ian had a break from the game and tried to improve his golf handicap. After retiring from over 40 years in Corporate and Private Banking Ian came back to the Club and has held several Management Committee positions in recent years.

Ian is a Life Member of Peninsula Power, and Football Queensland.
